Cameron Hospital Administration

The role of the Cameron Hospital Administration is to oversee the daily operations of the hospital. But their duties extend far beyond that. They work to ensure the safety, security, health and well-being of all our patients and employees. They also strive to ensure that Cameron continues to grow in order to meet the needs of our community today and far into the future.

Meet the Administrative Team

Connie McCahill

Connie McCahill

Chief Executive Officer & President

 

Connie has been with Cameron since 2012 and has been working in acute care hospitals for more than 40 years. She began as a nurse after graduating from Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and Indiana University in South Bend. She later received a graduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and shifted her career to hospital administration. Connie says she was drawn to a career in healthcare after a summer job as a nurse aide in high school. A firm believer in Cameron pride, Connie loves the team spirit among the staff. She is dedicated to working on a strategic plan to ensure the hospital continues to grow to meet the changing needs of the community. 

In her spare time, Connie enjoys spending time gardening, reading and watching foreign films. She has been married to her husband, Paul, for 47 years. They have three children and five grandchildren.

Doug Bomba

Senior Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer

 

Doug joined Cameron Hospital in 2012, relocating from Ohio, where he served as CFO of Wilson Memorial Hospital. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and his MBA from the University of Toledo. He chose healthcare management because his father served on a local hospital board and told Doug that hospitals needed managers with business backgrounds to ensure they could provide the services communities need. His favorite part of Cameron Hospital is the dedicated staff that do their best every day. 

Away from work, Doug likes to golf and travel with his wife Rita. He enjoys time spent with his family that includes six children and 13 grandchildren. Doug also serves as treasurer for the Steuben County Community Foundation Board.

Andy Aldred

Andy Aldred

Executive Director of Ancillary Services

 

Andy has been employed with Cameron since 2008. He brings over 15 years of experience to this position. Andy received an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University School of Pharmacy. Originally drawn to healthcare for the opportunity to help people, Andy loves the family atmosphere at Cameron. He is excited to help bring a full-service pharmacy to the hospital. 

Andy is all about family. His wife and two children love to spend time together boating. Andy also donates his time to coaching youth sports.

Seth Berry

Seth Berry

Executive Director of Human Resources and Food Services

 

With Cameron since 2018, Seth brings nearly 20 years of experience to his position at the hospital. After receiving a degree in Human Resources from  Michigan State University, he worked in other industries; however, he was drawn to healthcare because of the impact it has on the wellbeing of a community. He believes what makes Cameron special is its combination of outstanding technology, a modern facility and the dedicated staff.   

Seth is an official with USA Waterski, and enjoys spending his weekends serving as a driver and judge for waterski tournaments. He’s married with three children and also gives his time  to Tibbets Opera House in Coldwater as a board member.

Scott Hirschy

Scott has been with Cameron Hospital for 14 years, starting as an OR nurse. Scott continued to be promoted, first to clinical nursing leadership, then director of inpatient services and director of IT. His education includes undergraduate studies at the University of Indianapolis and a nursing degree from Purdue University. Scott remembers always wanting to work in healthcare and says he was drawn to leadership positions to help WORD improvement. He loves the close-knit family atmosphere of the hospital where everyone looks out for one another. 

Scott’s wife, Gina, is an RN at Cameron. Together they have two high-school aged children. When not at the hospital, Scott enjoys outdoor activities and sports. He also serves as a board member for the Junior Achievement of Steuben County.

Darleana Crofoot, BSN, MS

Executive Director, Quality & Risk Management

 

Darleana, or Dar as she is known at the hospital, has been with Cameron since 1992. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University, followed by a Master of Science degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Dar was drawn to a career in healthcare from her desire to work with people and an interest in the sciences. Her favorite thing about Cameron is the ability to make a difference within the community where her friends and family live. She also enjoys the strong family ties that surround Cameron, a place she considers home.

Dar is passionate about her job, the hospital and its mission. She’s recognized throughout Cameron for her sense of humor and her ability to help make everyone else’s job a bit easier.

Kelly Keirns

Executive Director: Strategy and Business Development

 

An experienced healthcare marketing professional, Kelly joined Cameron in 2018. A graduate of Indiana University, Kelly is a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Angola Mayor’s Art Council. She came to Cameron to be a part of an outstanding team that is dedicated to ensuring the best possible care for patients and helping improve the lives of the entire community.

A busy working mother, Kelly makes the most of her free time with her two children, Cole and Ella. She’s also an avid reader and also manages to find time to always stay ahead of emerging trends in marketing.

Angela M. Logan, RN, MS

Vice President of Nursing & Chief Nursing Officer

 

An experienced healthcare administrator and RN, Angela joined Cameron Hospital in 2019. She received undergraduate degrees from Purdue University Fort Wayne and Western Governors University in Salt Lake City. She also completed a Master degree in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. Angela is passionate about nursing and her role in developing and maintaining nursing strategy throughout Cameron Hospital.

Angela is a frequent keynote speaker and serves on several boards, including the International Council of Nurses, the Advisory Boards for both the University of Saint Francis and Ivy Tech, and the Foellinger Foundation Board of Community Interests Grant Review Advisory Committee.

Todd C. Rumsey, MD, FACOG

Todd C. Rumsey, MD, FACOG

Chief Medical Officer

 

Dr. Todd Rumsey has been with Cameron since 2017. He completed his undergraduate degree at DePauw University and his graduate degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. An experienced, board-certified obstetrics and gynecology physician, Dr. Rumsey has earned a reputation for providing outstanding care.

Dr. Rumsey and his wife, Barbara, have been married for 28 years. Together they have three children, Peter, Annie and Mary. He is involved with the Foellinger Foundation and is also a Fellow of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
